I went to the Grove on Thursday 9/27/12 to watch the filming of Extra because they list which celebrities will be interviewed and it was the first time I saw it say "surprise guest". It turned out to be Nina Dobrev from Vampire Diaries! I'm not really up on the show but I always love her red-carpet style and think she is gorgeous so I waited around to see her. She was really nice and down to earth.
After her interview she was walking to leave and mobs of people were trying to get pictures and autographs. Her people were trying to pull her away to leave but she kept stopping to sign things and pose for pictures. I thought it was really thoughtful of her to show appreciation to her fans.

The Counter - Los Angeles CA

The Counter is a burger chain where the burgers are made to order however you like. They have many options for the roll, meat, toppings, and sides. They also have a menu of their signature burgers and other items in case you don't feel like creating your own. I chose a 1/3 lb beef burger (smallest sized burger option), on a hamburger bun, with jalapeno jack cheese, pickles, lettuce, fried onion strings, and chipotle aioli sauce. We also got parmesan garlic french fries for the table to share. Everything was yummy and fresh. My favorite was the fried onion strings and the parmesan garlic fries.

Milk - Los Angeles CA

Milk is an ice cream parlor and bake shop. There were so many delicious treats, it took me a while to choose. I tasted a pretzel and beer flavored ice cream out of curiosity and it really tasted like pretzels and beer but it was too rich for more than a taste. I ended up getting the Coffee Toffee Crunch Shake (coffee ice cream with toffee crunch and espresso) for $6.00. It was soooo delicious. It was like a Heath Bar Frappuccino! Mike got the Banana Peanut Malt (banana dulce de leche ice cream, malted milk and roasted peanuts) for $7.00. I tried his but I loved my own milkshake way more. The only problem was I drank it at 9pm and then I couldn't fall asleep because of all the caffeine. It was worth it.

I spied these shoes at Nordstrom's at The Grove in LA. I would actually wear these if I could afford them but they are $3,000! Apparently this is the last pair and they already sold 5 pairs of these. I hope I see someone wearing them out somewhere. I want to get scary shoes like this, the bigger, the better!

Although I love my baby Graycat to death, there are a few other pets I would like to have.

Here is a list of my top 5 dream pets:

Picture
Baby Sinclair from the 90's TV show Dinosaurs because he is cute and says "Not the mama!" and "I'm the baby, gotta love me!"
Picture
Falkor from the movie The Never Ending Story because he is just a huge giant cuddly dog that can fly.
Picture
ET because he is just so cool!
Picture
A Direwolf from the show/book Game of Thrones. My Direwolf would be my companion and protect me.

Last but not least...Yoda! He is smart and adorable and has the force. He would train me to be a Jedi and just hang out with me in my apartment.

On the day after we moved to L.A. it was Fashion's Night Out, a huge celebrity and fashion filled event at the Beverly Center. I wanted to go and meet Elle and Blair Fowler (sisters turned YouTube beauty gurus) who were doing a book signing for their first book Beneath The Glitter. I had also heard that Lucy Hale from Pretty Little Liars and Kendal Jenner from Keeping Up With the Kardashians were hosting it and many other celebs would be there.
Since it was only our first full day in L.A. and at our apartment, Mike and I had to go food shopping and we only had his rental car so we had to wait until after he came home from work. By the time we got to the mall it was almost 9pm and it was all winding down. FAIL.

Here are a few pictures from the fashion show:

We walked over to where the book signing with Elle & Blair was but they must have only stayed for an hour so we missed it. :(
I took a picture at their booth anyway lol.
We walked around the mall for a bit and many stores had DJs and live models, some even had free alcoholic drinks. We looked for celebrities but we must have been too late.

I settled for a picture with Miss Teen Asia USA
...and Mike got a picture with John Stamos.
We still had a fun time and we got this free picture printed out at Guess:

I heard this song in the car the other day: Emeli Sande - Read All About It (Part III).
Mike and I started watching a BBC show called Luther (a crime drama) on Netflix. This song is played in season 1, episode 5: Sia - Breathe Me.

Wash face, Clarisonic, Idealist Serum, Mousturize :)

I want to figure out how to make the Circle of Life my new morning alarm sound. I think it would make me happy and I could start each day as a new circle of my life, like my life has a soundtrack. I'm not sure Mike would like this idea though...haha.

During the summer I read A Game of Thrones, the first book in the series A Song of Ice and Fire by George R.R. Martin and I was hooked. Then I was busy with moving so I didn't read anything. On my plane ride to LA I started the 2nd book, A Clash of Kings and I am addicted again. I just want to keep reading and go back into that world! I'm planning on finishing this series before I move onto any new books. I haven't watched the HBO Series, Game of Thrones, based on these books yet. I would like to start watching that at some point, maybe after I read the books.
