and a happy new year!
I am thankful to spend time at home
with family
and give and receive a few presents :)
 
On Christmas Eve I sleep over my mom's house.
She makes eggnog but I don't really like eggnog. It always looks good but the egg just freaks me out.
My brother Ted sleeps over too and my moms friends Kathy and Harry come visit and Kathy brings homemade cookies for us.
We usually hang out and watch Christmas movies.
Then we open gifts.
If we are lucky we will get cinnamon rolls the next day for Christmas morning.

I don't know if you remember but last year around this time I spotted Buddy the Elf in that Gotye song:
This year I was at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art when I spotted him again. I found him in a painting by Magnus Zeller circa 1920 called The Orator.
